Story:
A stale tale, the story begins with Ramana (krishnudu) who fails to pass his degree and studies in the same class. Meanwhile, his father (jayaprakash reddy) is an ex-MLA who is quite corrupted. He wants to marry Ramana to the richest politician. However, Ramana has got a good reason to fail, he is in love with his classmate Lavanya (shraddha) and for his luck, she comes to the same college as his lecturer. Ramana's attempts to woo her go in vain as she has a story. Her father Anjaneyulu (avs) is a beggar so she deems this relationship impossible. However, Ramana is determined to marry her and also hatches a plan to teach his father a lesson. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
The director has come up with a rather painful tale and neither is the presentation nor narrative upto the mark. The script was lousy, the screenplay was pathetic, the dialogues were plain. Background score was good but songs could have been better. Cinematography was alright. Costumes were apt and editing was average. Art department made its presence felt. Krishnudu does his bit as required but his character didn't have that elevation, Shraddha Arya looks sizzling hot but no glamour show from her this time, AVS was okay and made his presence felt, Jayaprakash Reddy gave few funny moments, Ali, Brahmi, Venu and Raghubabu were hardly there. Kovai Sarala was loud, Murali Mohan was decent, the others didn't have much to offer.
Conclusion:
The major drawback in the film is its story and when the plot is weak, nothing can be done about the other aspects. While the first half is somewhat okay things get really bad in the second half and some ridiculous scenes engage the audience. Overall, the film looks cheap and while the attempt convey a message is appreciable, the makers must realize that there is a way for that. This will sink at the box office in no time.
